Until today, we have a few Brazilians left thinking that during the military dictatorship the country had less corruption and things were better. But we know, in fact, that it was one of the most corrupt eras. Due to the censorship, journalists began to use excerpts of The Lusiads poems to fill the censored parts in order to protest. Now, we will use these poems to tell the truth that they kept away from us.
